Its a boy, not a girl

Everyone was right. and it is all my fault. If i didn't boast so much about how much I wanted a girl, everyone probably would not be thinking "oh well then, she will have a boy" But i couldn't help it!!! I really feel so differently about pregnancy now, and feel even worse for feeling that way!! When the Dr. said there was outdoor plumbing, in refernece to the ultrasound picture, i stopped breathing.
"Are you sure"
"Yes, it doesnt get any clearer than that" ( pointing to "it" on the computer screen)

I couldn't help it. I started crying. I didn't know if it was because of actually finding out, or because it wasn't what i had been expecting to hear. I was releved to not hear any bad news about the babys health, and feel very blessed for that. However I can't fake this. My point was proven when i went to take back the most adorable clothes ever (for a girl) and was searching the store for baby boy clothes! They just don't make any......reason #1 for my feelings!!!! Now you say, if not any cute boy clothes is the only reason your disappointed, grow up sabrina, well i would, but there is also no cute boy ANYTHING!! They just dont make boy stuff! It's like the world is telling us, we have enough boys, here is a store full of girls clothes and a corner for those of you that have boys. I shall be in shock for a while and want to be alone.
On another note, as promised. Here are some pics of the boy inside me, not a girl.

Brian wanted a girl every time and finally got one on the third try. I cried when I found out I was having a girl b/c I was so excited. The ultrasound tech thought I was crazy. Hopefully next time you'll get a girl and you'll smother her like I do to Brinley. Boys are great in that the Dad is always willing to take their son out for the day and give mom a break.

I know exactly how you feel because I wanted a girl for the same reasons...and because I simply didn't know what to do with a boy (since I grew up in a family of 4 girls). But little boys LOVE their moms soooo much and the best is when Landon comes up and kisses me for no reason...or pats me on the back while giving me a hug. And you'll find cute boy stuff, trust me, I did. Carters has great stuff for boys and so does Target and Old Navy and Children's place...that's where I get all of Landon's stuff. But here's an idea that I thought was absolutely ADORABLE for a little boy's room...use golf as your theme. I wish I had thought of that for Landon, but we did jungle instead. But if I have another boy, I'm definitely doing GOLF (cause doesn't Aaron like golf? I know Shane does...) Anyway, congratulations!

So my husband knows your husband and his family... my hubby's name is Bart Pollard... we had a boy and were super excited! If you want some cute places to shop try Mini Boden, Janie and Jack, Hurley has cute baby boy stuff... and there are tons more brands. Some stuff is pricey but it's soo cute! I'm not sure what your style is but Dwell Baby makes cute bedding as does Pottery Barn... good luck!

You are funny- I cried a little when we found out H was a girl. I wanted one girl and one boy but now that I am having a boy after three girls I am in shock. And I on the other hand have to stop myself from buying boy stuff. I want to do a golf room- there is an argyle bedding out there (We aren't doing it due to lack of room). And don't you think the plaid shorts and polos and stuff are cute? I do-- oh and less accessories!!!! I guess I have been shopping for girls for 5 years that the boy stuff is refeshing to me. Boys will be cheaper in the end... as long as they don't take on golf like their dads. :)

Breezy don't be a brat! I hope your little boy doesn't ever get to read this post or find out that you were so dissapointed!! On the other hand I know how you feel about wanting a girl. But once you get that little guy in your arms you will fall completely in love and won't care what kind of "plumbing" it has!! PS. I went shopping today and found TONS of cute boy stuff! We can go shopping when you get here! I love you and Aaron so much and I'm glad baby is healthy!!!!

You look adorable!!! I love your striped dress! Boys are soooo fun though-I promise! I love my little Addi to death of course but sometimes I am afraid she will not be as fun and cuddly and sweet as Eli! I bet you will have a girl next! I agree girl clothes are much cuter though!
